I was born in Florence, Alabama. When I was two years old my parents moved us to Charlotte, North Carolina, where I went to their public schools and graduated from Harding High School.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Health at David Lipscomb University. I have been teaching for fourteen years. I have had the privilege of teaching at many different Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, Berry Elementary, Glencliff Elementary, John Early Elementary, Una Elementary, Hermitage Elementary, and Dodson Elementary. I was indeed blessed when I was chosen to come to Julia Green Elementary, where I love teaching and interacting with the students during Physical Education classes.
